- 死路：指仅有一边可以出入的道路，因有尽头之处而以“死”称之。通常见于街道、巷道或野外道路上，多为不同年代的都市设计或道路规划产生差异下，导致道路无法延续而成，但也有因交通宁静、社区安全防护等缘由而特别设计的，例如囊底路。假若路人不熟悉道路，误入死路会浪费时间，因为路有尽头，非原路折返不可，所以不少死路都会在路口处安装单程路或“此路不通”等路标，以警告用路人。
